Difference between IVF and artificial insemination

One aspect that is not usually included in practically any assisted reproduction clinic is the cost of the medication that the patient must take for ovarian stimulation.

In artificial insemination, fertilization takes place in the woman's body. Therefore, to avoid multiple pregnancy, only the maturation of one or at most two ovules is sought.

In order to stimulate the ovary and control ovulation but without increasing the risk of multiple gestation, low doses of hormonal medication are administered. This implies a lower cost compared to IVF.

Simple and painless artificial insemination
