Explanation of treatments

The laboratory, heart of these clinics, has the most modern facilities to carry out a wide variety of services adapted to the needs of patients. The Fertility Institute carries out artificial insemination, assisted hatching, conventional in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatments.

The clinic carries out preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), a technique used as a complement to IVF / ICSI, whose purpose is to select those embryos free of the alteration studied.

The vitrification or ultrafast freezing of oocytes and embryos, allows the delayed transfer, in a cycle different from the one that gives the ovarian stimulation.

The freezing of semen, allows the preservation of semen fluctuating characteristics that allows to ensure the presence of sperm on the day of the puncture, valuable seeds of patients who are going to undergo a chemotherapy treatment, or patients whose work requires them to travel and not They can coordinate their activity with the couple's ovarian stimulation cycle.

The Fertility Institute has a semen bank for women without a male partner, or when it is impossible to obtain sperm from the male, allowing the possibility of using donor sperm either through insemination or in in vitro fertilization.

When choosing the appropriate semen for the patient or partner, physical and group parameters and Rh similar to the recipient or her partner are followed. The proper selection of semen is assured given the availability of a wide range of donors of different blood groups. This ensures the maximum phenotypic coincidence with the patients requesting the semen samples.

Preservation of paternity

The most used is the freezing of semen, with very good results. There is the option of preserving testicular tissue, in which a portion of testicular tissue is biopsied and frozen until such time as its use is required by assisted reproduction techniques.
